'Hart of Dixie' season 4 spoilers: Zoe and Wade's baby gender, George and Annabeth to hit it off in 'Alabama Boys'

More panic and qualms will cause Zoe and Wade to do some rethinking about their relationship as they transition into parenthood. In episode 6 of "Hart of Dixie" titled "Alabama Boys," the couple learns their baby's gender and this sends them face to face with the dread brought about by the bigger responsibilities. As they draw closer to parental duty, the two realize that they are not ready to be parents at all.

The previous episode of the series saw the two figuring out how they can afford a child, taking into consideration the extra expenses and the search for a new home where they can move in as a family. Meanwhile, Lemon realized how wrong she was for setting up George and Annabeth on a date. Nevertheless, it looks like her plan worked.

The promo for the upcoming episode shows George asking Annabeth on a date. But there is a problem. Annabeth did not fall for Lemon's trap. Or did she?

Annabeth unyieldingly turns down George's invite as seen in the promo. And according to Carter Matt, this may only be out of her resistance to acknowledge the feelings she is developing for the guy, denying to herself that she has something toward George because of the petty setup.

The site also thinks that Annabeth has no plans of letting Lemon go off easy as she thinks what she did was purely selfish. So for her, to give in to Lemon's motives feels like rewarding her self-interest. Also, she feels like dating George would make him feel like a rebound or a replacement to Lavon and she does not want that at all. She thinks George is an amazing guy.

Indeed, a switch of partners is very well on the horizon. What will become of George and Annabeth? How will Zoe and Wade cope with new responsibilities? Find out on "Hart of Dixie" season 4 episode 6 "Alabama Boys" on Feb. 20.
