As the premiere of "Hannibal" season 3 nears, the cool people behind the hit psychological thriller just can't help but trickle some details about what's in store for the deadly doctor and what horrors his horrid, bloodthirsty exploits will bring.

The next season of the horror series, or at least its first half, will focus on Bedelia Du Maurier and Hannibal Lecter's relationship, and it will unfold things involving this intriguing bit in the most intricate manner possible.

"It really does feel like 'What are we watching?' Will Graham isn't in it. None of the other familiar characters are in it. It's just Hannibal and Bedelia and their history over three different periods of time," showrunner Bryan Fuller told Digital Spy.

However, Fuller dropped the ball by revealing "Bedelia will always be Hannibal's psychiatrist" and that for the doctor, who he revealed still longs for Will, "she'll never be necessarily as intimate and passionate in her relationship with Hannibal as Will and Hannibal are."

Fuller says that Gillian Anderson, who plays Bedelia in the series, is hilarious and a "delight," praising her performance in the show. This earned her "quite a big role in the first half of the season."

The episodes in the first half of season 3 have titles based on cuisine, including "Antipasto" and "Primavera." The second half, on the other hand, focuses on Francis Dolarhyde, and the titles are named after the paintings that made him the murderous man he is. The eighth episode is titled "The Great Red Dragon" and the ninth is called "And The Woman Clothed In Sun." After that, there's "And the Woman Clothed With The Sun" followed by "And The Beast From The Sea." The titles of the other episodes have yet to be revealed.

"[Dolarhyde] is in the show almost as much as Hugh and Mads are in the second half of the season. So we really spend a lot of time with Dolarhyde, in a way that neither of the movies have had the real estate to," Fuller dished.

Fuller aims to flesh out more of Dolarhyde's personality and his insanity, adding that he wants viewers to be "confused with this character because we get to know him, and we get to see this man who is suffering, from his mind eating him alive from the inside out."

"Hannibal" season 3 premieres on June 4.
