A "Halo 5: Guardians" tournament is set to take place at this year's Gamescom. According to Softpedia, Microsoft has collaborated with ESL to make the occasion happen. The massive Gamescom Invitational will take place on Aug. 7 right on the arena of the show floor.

This affair will give players the opportunity to try out the much-awaited shooter's Arena gameplay, in which a group of four players will show off some skills and help each other in claiming victory. This showing, notably, will be the first time fans will get their hands on the said gameplay.

Teams invited to join the event include Epsilon Esports, Supremacy, CAZ.Esports, and OpTic Gaming. Fans of the franchise can watch how it all goes down via the Twitch channel.

In other related news, gamers who pre-ordered a digital copy of "Halo 5: Guardians" Limited Collector's Edition will be glad to know that they can exchange it for a physical copy without shedding a cent. This was after game developer 343 Industries received requests from gamers who want to get a physical disc of the game.

"When we last left off, we let you know that we had heard the feedback that some of you prefer a physical disc instead of a digital copy, and that we were exploring options," a post in the Halo Waypoint blog reads. "Today, we're able to confirm that for those who would like a physical disc, we'll provide an option for fans to exchange their digital copy for a physical copy at no additional cost."

More details about this are expected to be dropped soon.

Apart from a copy of the game, the Limited Collector's Edition packs a large Master Chief and Spartan Locke figurine, a Spartan-themed Steelbook, Spartan Locke's Classified Orders, and the "Halo: The Fall of Reach" Animated Series. Also included is the Warzone REQ Bundle: 14 Premium Requisition Packs, Blue Team and Fireteam Osiris databases, and a 14-day trial of Xbox Live. All that for $250.

"Halo 5: Guardians" will be released on Oct. 27.
