Gwen Stefani, Blake Shelton dating news: They 'Make It Feel Like Christmas' on 'The Voice'

Gwen Stefani decked the halls of "The Voice" this week as she sang "You Make It Feel Like Christmas" with boyfriend Blake Shelton.

The couple reunited on "The Voice" stage to perform the first single on Stefani's holiday album of the same title, with the 48-year-old "Hollaback Girl" singer dressed like a Christmas tree.

The pair was gooey-eyed from the moment they stepped on stage, holding hands as they waved to the audience.

It was a romantic performance that ended with Shelton kissing his girl on top of the head. Fellow coach Miley Cyrus could not hide her amusement of the couple, she even stood up and cheered from her spot.

Shelton earlier told People how excited Stefani was about writing the song, remembering that one time his girlfriend called him while on the road.

"I love seeing her that happy. She's so happy when she's writing and just hearing that in her voice and how into it she was, I just couldn't stop thinking about (it) so I got my guitar out and thought, 'I wonder if I could help her in some way?'"

He shared that he wrote the melody for the chorus and helped come up with a few lyrics, which ended up being the first verse.

The 2017 Hottest Man Alive said he really just wanted to contribute something to her album, but the "No Doubt" singer wanted him to be a part of it. "She had it all mapped out and I couldn't have been more honored or more proud to be on one of her records," Shelton shared.

Stefani and Shelton started dating two years ago, when they were both mentors of the popular singing competition. Earlier reports said the two are very eager to have a baby to add to Stefani's three children -- Kingston, 11, Zuma, 9, and Apollo, 3 -- who she shares with former husband Gavin Rossdale.
