Rumors of a delay in the release of "Grand Theft Auto V" for PC prompted game developer Rockstar to reassure fans of its previous promise. In response to a gamer who inquired of the supposed postponement of the game through the forums on its support page, the game studio was quick to give surety that the game, which landed on the Xbox One and PS4 consoles in November last year, will indeed make its way to PCs in a few weeks.
"GTA V will be coming to PC on January 27th. We have not announced any changes to this date at this time," Rockstar avowed.
Fans have reacted to recent rumors that the title's rollout is allegedly obstructed. The news came after eagle-eyed gamers spotted the inconspicuous alteration made on its Steam page, where the release date that once specified Jan. 27 was changed to "early 2015," WCCF Tech reported. PC players who are looking forward to playing "GTA V" soon are certainly not up for another waiting game. Good thing Rockstar quashed the speculations before the uproar intensified.
In the wake of the issue, PC gamers also worry about running the game smoothly on their computers. "Grand Theft Auto IV" clearly did not impress them and it only generated stress, fright and hope on what's to come for its successor. As the launch looms, players would want to prep up their PCs for the glorious release. Unfortunately, system requirements are yet to be detailed by Rockstar. Gaming Bolt, however, reports that a leak (still unsubstantiated) bearing them is making the rounds. Here is what is says:

Meanwhile, software developer and technical artist Hayssam Keilany revealed that he is building an ICEnhancer mod for "GTA V."
"We gotta see what the PC will offer. It might not require much editing in terms of shaders and stuff but mostly artistic changes to fit everyone's taste," Keilany wrote in a post as quoted by IB Times. "Expect to see dark, unsaturated, shiny cars preset and oversaturated, matte cars presets, etc."
