GTA 5 heists DLC to pack Hydra-jet plane, EMP bombs and more

GTA V Rockstar Games

As the dawn of the highly-anticipated "Heists" DLC looms, "Grand Theft Auto" players are already treated to a few glimpses on what items and equipment they will get to use in perpetrating the biggest criminal group missions, thanks to renowned "GTA" tipster and YouTuber, Domislive, and Shady Lapse from Se7ensins forums.

The source codes foraged by the tipsters reveal that a host of entirely new weapons will be at every gamer's disposal come the "Heists" release. There will be Electro-Magnetic-Pulse (EMP) bombs, which will put all electronic equipment out of action, such as robots, digitally-armed safes, sentries carrying weapons and security cameras. Along with it are the BZ Gas XM25 Grenade Launcher and the thermal bomb, good old paraphernalia that make the inevitable detonation and explosions in the mission field happen.

"Heists" is also expected to bring BioLab Finale sounds that will give access to brand-new audio files and environmental elements, particularly with security door alarms or one that is related to The Humane Labs Raid mission. The much-awaited DLC may also be the host of much-needed armored vehicles like the APC tank. It may also include the Hydra jet plane, a ride so awesome it can only be unlocked via Pegasus for $1.5 million. The DLC package would not forget about the gear and garb for players, too. And there are also conjectures that guard dogs, sniffers or various hunting dogs will join the party to help cops seize the law breakers.

Lastly, "Heists" will come with two new individuals believed to facilitate the full-scale felony. First to be introduced is Jeff, which IB Times believes would put forward some easy money-making quests for players online. The other one is an extra Lester contact, which could mean that backing from the main man will come for the crew to help them do a clean job and escape without a trace.

Rockstar has experienced a few bumps and delays along the way but the game developer gave its word that the "Heists" DLC will finally materialize in January next year.
