It looks like Rockstar Games is nowhere near done with "Grand Theft Auto 5." If a leak is to be believed, the developer has its downloadable content (DLC) plans for the next couple of years in place.
Back in August, before the "Biker" DLC for "GTA 5" was released, a GTA Forums user posted an outline of every expansion Rockstar plans for the game all the way up to 2020.
The user's accurate mention of the "Biker" DLC made him a credible source to many despite the lack of information on his mysterious identity.
In the detailed post, this "GTA 5" tipster claims that the next expansion from Rockstar is a Law and Order DLC, which will allow players to purchase police vehicles and in turn, do free roam police missions.
After that, Rockstar is apparently giving "GTA 5" players another way to show off their extravagant life with the purported "Luxury Living" DLC that gives players the chance to buy a mansion and "exotic pets."
Next on the list, as per this mystery source, is a so-called "The Blaine County and Paleto" DLC, which makes way for animals in free roam in a VIP mission.
This rumored "GTA 5" DLC is all about acquiring a hunting license and equipment in addition to new warehouses and properties.
The GTA Forum user did not mention release dates for the said content, but they are presumed to be released this year up to early next year. By fall of next year — September to be exact — "GTA 5" players are allegedly getting a paid online map expansion called North Yankton and Liberty City.
The next one after that is another paid online map DLC called San Fierro and Las Ventures, which is set for an October 2018 release.
For this one, the tipster said that the locations were part of the early development of "GTA 5," but adding them would mean the PlayStation 3 and the Xbox 360 would not be able to handle them graphics-wise.
Now, with the PS4, the PS4 Pro, as well as the Xbox One, and even the Project Scorpio, Rockstar decided to reportedly revisit the maps.
Finally, the developer is looking into the addition of "Vice City," but the tipster warned that it will see the light of day "not until GTA 6" and sometime around 2020 "at the very earliest."
Whether or not this leak is accurate remains to be seen, but if it is, it looks like fans will not have to worry about running out of new things to do and places to visit in "GTA 5."
