For those who missed the recent $80 discount offered by Office Depot on the Google Nexus 9, the U.S. retailer is still offering $50 off the original price of the tablet.

The discount brings down the price of the 16 GB and 32 GB versions of the Nexus 9 to $349 and $429, respectively. The retailer also throws in free shipping. However, this particular discount is available only until March 7. Office Depot is also offering a 20 percent off coupon for online orders, which will lower the prices for online buyers.

The HTC Nexus 9 is available at the Google Play Store for $399 for the 32 GB version and $479 for the 64 GB model. Meanwhile, the 32 GB LTE-enabled version is available for $599 at AT&T and T-Mobile.

As a reminder, below is the list of specs and features of the Google Nexus 9:

  • 8.9-inch 2048 × 1536 Full HD display or 4:3 aspect ratio
  • Gorilla Glass 3 screen protector
  • NVIDIA Tegra K1 processor with 2 GB of RAM with 64-bit architecture
  • 16 GB and 32 GB internal storage variants
  • Android 5.0 Lollipop, to be updated to Android 5.0.1 version
  • 8-megapixel rear camera and 1.6-megapixel front-facing camera
  • Aluminum frame with soft touch matte design
  • Dual HTC Boomsound front facing speakers
  • 6,700 mAh battery
  • White, Black, and Sand color options
  • 228.25 mm x 153.68 mm x 7.95 mm and 425 grams

The last Google Nexus 9 discount was offered during the holidays or around two months after its announcement. It is probable that the Nexus 9 had a lukewarm reception from consumers mainly due to the bugs and issues brought about by the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop OS it came out with, such as poor build quality, backlight bleeding, inflexible buttons, and other problems. Google is bound to release a major OS update to resolve all of the untamed features of the firmware.

Also, more Nexus 9 discounts are bound to emerge soon.
