Nexus 5 (2015) release date by Q4? What will Google bring out next?

Nexus 5 Wikipedia

The second generation Google Nexus 5 could be out by the fourth quarter of 2015 if reports hold true. And while the said device is expected to come out with better specs and is being branded to be the fastest phone to come out this year.

Apparently the fastest phone brag comes from the fact that the second generation Nexus 5 will be backed by a 64-bit Snapdragon 820 processor. On whether that would be enough to back up that claims remains to be seen.

With the issue of its coming somehow being uniform based on various reports, the matter of who would be building it comes into play. One report claims that it would be done by LG, another by Motorola and another by Huawei.

Hearing about Google once again turning to Motorola for the second generation Nexus 5 does come as a surprise. Apparently this has to do with the fact that the Motorola Nexus 6 flopped. But the real story there was because of the price point it came with, something consumers found a bit unreasonable.

So could the LG angle make more sense?

Considering that the Nexus 5 second gen may carry features similar to the LG G4, such could make more sense. This means that the Nexus 5 would be coming with a metal casing, an impressive screen display and of course a highly reliable camera. But more importantly, all those features must be squeezed into a fair budget, a price which the Google Nexus 5 is best known for.

To date, Google has made no official announcement on which of the mentioned companies would be taking the lead. Same holds true for the official date when the Nexus 5 would be announced.

But with the Google I/O event scheduled on May 28 and 29, there is a big chance that the Nexus 5 could be announced there and most likely come out in the last quarter of the year as earlier rumored.
