Golden State Warriors latest news: LeBron James fetes health as reason for success

LeBron James has been hard on his teammates lately and apparently, he wants them all to remain focused and fired up all the way to the end of the Cleveland Cavaliers campaign.

Hopefully, this will help the Cavs snag their first National Basketball Association (NBA) title, although there is another thing that he hopes the team can learn from the Golden State Warriors who are having a heck of a season so far.

The streaking Warriors are off to a hot start, toting a now perfect 16-0 start after beating the woeful Los Angeles Lakers last Tuesday.

For James, it is not hard to see why the Warriors are succeeding. He doesn't see anything special other than the fact that the Warriors have been properly managing their players from injury.

"They've been healthy. They've been the most healthy team I've ever seen in NBA history, and they have great talent. Those guys all play for one common goal and that's to win, and that's all that matters," James was quoted as saying via ESPN.

The Cavs, of course, have had that in mind as well even before the season, making it clear that they intend to manage the minutes of their players, James included.

Injuries played a crucial role for the Cavs last season, when they lost key players one after the other. They lost Anderson Varejão in the regular season; followed by Kevin Love during round one of the playoffs; and then Kyrie Irving during game one of the Finals.

This year, the Cavs are targeting all players to be healthy by the time the post season comes around and, hopefully, stay that way up to the finals if they are willed to do so.

And should lady luck smile as well, there is a big chance that we may see a repeat of the last NBA Finals. As far as James is concerned, hopefully, it will be a different result.
