'Glee' season 6 spoilers: song list released, the old New Directions return

Who knew that "Glee" would bid farewell after six seasons on air? Fans of the show might feel dismayed about this, but there's good news. What better way to end TV musical than to bring back the old members of New Directions and put them together with the new gang, all in one season? It couldn't get any better than this.

When "Glee" returns, it will premiere with a two-hour episode titled "Loser Like Me/Homecoming." The title alone is a dead giveaway on what to expect. The McKinley New Directions alums are indeed returning home, reports Wet Paint

TV Line got a hold of a clip from season 6's premiere episode, where the high school reunion is set to take place. In the clip, Rachel (Lea Michele) shares her epiphany with Kurt (Chris Colfer). With the goal of leading the new New Directions just like Mr. Schuester did, Rachel knows that they have to inspire the members. This is where the other members come into the picture. Santana (Naya Rivera), Brittany (Heather Morris), Tina (Jenna Ushkowitz), Artie (Kevin McHale), Mercedes (Amber Riley), Sam (Chord Overstree), Quinn (Dianna Agron) and Puck (Mark Salling) all return to help out Rachel and Kurt to achieve their goal.

Meanwhile, a two-hour episode doesn't just mean more air time for the alums. This also means that there will be more songs featured in the season 6 premiere. Wet Paint got the final list which consists of 10 songs. Some of the renditions to watch out for include "Let It Go" by Rachel, "Take On Me" by the old New Directions, "Sing" by The Warblers and Blaine, and "Problems" by Santana, Britanny and Quinn.

"Glee" season 6 will premiere on Jan. 9 and will only have 13 episodes in total before the cast bids its final farewell.
