"Girl Meets World" season 3 will be back this week with an exciting new episode after its three-week hiatus, which will show Riley (Rowan Blanchard) and Maya's (Sabrina Carpenter) new obsession.
In episode 16, "Girl Meets Her Monster," the two best friends develop a fixation for binge-watching. They would stay up all night just to breeze through new shows they discovered.
Topanga (Danielle Fishel) is understandably unhappy about what Riley and Maya have been up to. The "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16 promo teases that this leads to a "media lockdown," and even worse, a "family meltdown."
"It's time I did not live under this roof anymore," Riley tells her mother, who looked shocked and confused. Even more dumbfounded are Cory (Ben Savage) and Auggie (August Maturo).
It looks like Riley will not be all too happy about her mother raining on her parade and might even consider running away in this "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode.
While it appears that this thought will cross her mind, fans can count on Riley to come to her senses and talk it out with Topanga in this installment, but viewers should also brace for some intense drama.
Speculations have it that "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16 will also see Ben caught between the mother–daughter fight, which could be the most challenging he will have to deal with yet.
The writers of the "Girl Meets World" took to Twitter to tease a bit more about this episode,
"Two mothers cause two teenage girls hurt, pain and humiliation just because Riley is selfish and Maya kidnaps a movie star."
Some speculate that, based on what the writers tweeted, "Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16 will also involve Maya's mother, Katy (Cheryl Texiera).
Fishel actually directed and wrote this upcoming episode, so she is involved both on and off the screen.
"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 16, "Girl Meets Her Monster," will air Friday, Nov. 4, at 8:30 p.m. ET on Disney Channel.
