'The Flash' season 1 spoilers: Harrison Wells gets cornered in episode 20 'The Trap'

Barry, Joe, and the rest of the team now know that Harrison Wells is long dead and the one who claims to be the scientist is actually Eobard Thawne a.k.a. the Reverse Flash, the one who killed Barry's mother. Now, the Flash is ready for payback and the gang is behind him as they foil more of the villain's evil plans.

Next week's episode of "The Flash," aptly titled "The Trap," will show Joe and Cisco catch fake Wells red-handed. Cisco uses himself as prey, which may or may not be the best idea there is. For now, it spells nothing but trouble for him and the last thing fans want to see as the season inches closer to the end is a bad case of déjà vu, with the character getting killed by the yellow-clad speedster.

In the promo for the episode, the Flash arrives just in time before a wailing Cisco gets schooled by Wells, who stands up from his wheelchair to teach his apprentice a lesson on what happens to people who get a bit too nosy about certain things like secret evil identities.

Barry, Cisco and Caitlin's discovery of Wells' evil warren is just the first step. This episode seems to be setting up the big clash between the two speedsters as well as Barry's chance at getting some answers about the phony's intentions on training and helping him to become better.

Meanwhile, Eddie, whose relationship with Iris has been on the rocks for quite some time, comes to a decision, one that will leave his girlfriend's father "a bit unsettled." Does this have to do with Eddie taking the next step?

Speaking of the lover boy, fans can only hope that the series will finally shed light on what sharing the Thawne family name means for Eobard and Eddie.

"The Flash" season 1 episode 20 "The Trap" will air on April 28.
