Five Nights at Freddy's Sister Location news: game boss character details, setting teased

 Scott Games

While we continue to wait for a firm release date for the highly anticipated "Five Nights at Freddy's: Sister Location", there are at least some tantalizing details trickling out on the spinoff game.

For one thing it looks like the setting could be actually be the animatronics factory! This is quite a shift from the previous guesses of an amusement park's basement or a restaurant or even the workshop of a mad scientist.

All of these would make a great setting but the animatronics factory would be pretty awesome, not to mention mind-bending and scary.

It's not exactly nailed down though and neither is the main villain, who could be The Purple Guy or Baby. As GameNGuide notes, The Purple Guy would be a good fight for the game if it is set in the animatronics factory as the character has been seen in the gameplay dismantling animatronics.

The game is coming out in fall 2016 but we are still waiting for an exact release date and whether it will be September or October.

What we can be sure of is it's going to be awesome.  Some other treats that have trickled out include one  unusual character that was leaked in a teaser.

The one-eyed monstrosity, seen above, only appears to have half a face and equally strange is that it also appears to be missing a body, with just loose wires where its body should be.

It will be interesting to see how this character fits into the plot.  One Reddit user found some interesting clues to the animatronic's name in an image of trademarked names.

The image pointed to "Ennard", which may be a play on the word "innards", and also confirmed that Mangle and Freddy will be in the game.

The tagline to the image for Ennard came read "there's a little of me in every body", which suggests an interesting role in the game for this eerie character, but what exactly will it be?

We can't wait to find out!
