The strategic game series also introduces two new religious units which only means that the update will also be featuring two new Pantheons, Founder, Follower, Enhancer and Worship Beliefs.

The two new civs are Khmer, led by Jayavarman VII, and Indonesia, led by Dyah Gitarja, a princess-turned-warrior- queen of a 14th Century empire.

Here are some of the updates on Civ 6 based on the list made by the game's official website:

Khmer, one of the two new civilizations, is led by Jayavarman VII, its "Civ unique ability" is Grand Barays - Farms, which provides +2 food if adjacent to an aqueduct (+3 faith and +1 amenity to each city with an Aqueduct). Meanwhile, Jayavarman VII's unique ability is the Monasteries of the King - Holy Sites, which grants +2 Food and +1 housing if placed on a river while Holy Sites provide a culture bomb.

The second civ, Indonesia, is led by Dyah Gitarja, the Exalted Goddess of the Three Worlds. Their "Civ unique ability is the Great Nusantar, which gives minor adjacency for coastal tiles to Holy Site, Campus, Industrial Zone, and Theater Square (+1 Amenity to each Entertainment Complex adjacent to a coastal tile).
