The critically-acclaimed role-playing video game by Square Enix, "Final Fantasy XV," is going to be delaying the release of its multiplayer mode expansion titled "Comrades." The announcement was made through the official "Final Fantasy XV" social media account, to the dismay of many expectant players.

In the Twitter post, the development team over at Square Enix stated that they are making "final adjustments" to ensure that players will not experience any major issues come launch day. Given the released statements, the game is then scheduled to be released sometime in November, if players are lucky.

In a report by Gamespot, the expansion will grant players with a whole new plethora of features apart from playing with their friends online. In "Comrades," players will be able to create their own unique avatar for a truly immersive role-playing experience. The delay comes as no surprise either, since the developers experienced a "rocky start" during the early days of August.

The first beta had some issues regarding server capacity and fluidity. Players had problems with keeping constant connectivity in the game, which is one of the biggest issues that online multiplayer games is usually ridden with. Upon releasing the second beta phase, matchmaking became an issue, which is another multiplayer basic element that needed the developers' immediate attention. Players encountered some difficulty in getting in-game lobbies.

Due to the complications experienced beforehand, Square Enix was prompted to have a second beta testing phase to make sure that everything was under control. According to Gematsu, Square Enix was very apologetic for not delivering on fans' expectations, and the fact that there is no confirmed release date as of now. However, it is safe to say that when the opportunity presents itself, Square Enix will promptly announce a date as soon as possible.

"Final Fantasy XV" is now out on the PlayStation 4 and the Xbox One, with the PC version to follow some time in 2018.
