Final Fantasy 15 PC version not coming; Rumored release this year not possible

After an internal document of Square Enix had been leaked online, gamers were all excited to learn the final date of the release of Final Fantasy XV. They were hoping that the two big conventions at E3 and at San Diego would finally reveal when the new installment would be released this year, but when FFXV was a no-show in both events, people couldn't help express their disappointment.

But the chances for FFXV's release this year are slim, as reported by Air Herald. It is rumored that the delay is due to the fact that the team is having a hard time with DirectX 11 (an application programming interface for the xbox) in designing the game, and Daniel Sims, a freelance writer, has reportedly been able to contact Square Enix and confirm that FFXV is indeed not going to have a PC version, thus seemingly reaffirming the company's announcement in E3 2013 that the new installment will just be for the Xbox One and PS4.

The installment will be different from previous games, providing a darker and more realistic atmosphere. Human emotions will also be displayed via the characters.

It's no wonder then that the fans seem rather impatient to finally get hold of this game, but it seems that the earliest possible date that everyone can expect is sometime in March of next year or possibly even later. Even the preview of the game is yet to come out.

CEO Yosuka Matsuda said that the company is still preparing for it, so they can meet everyone's high expectations, and amidst all the mounting pressure steaming from everyone's impatient questions about the game, Matsuda only apologetically tells everyone to "Please wait a little while longer."
