'Fallout 4' release date update: Bethesda to unveil new title this year?

Fans have been imploring Bethesda to unveil its next title already. Whether it is another "Elder Scrolls" installment or "Fallout 4," gamers would just love to know what the game studio is up to. There has been high expectations about the latter's production as it was rumored to come out at the Pax South Event scheduled today. However, the event is about to end and not one bit of "Fallout 4" has been dropped.

Nevertheless, several media outlets believe that Bethesda would announce the refresh of the open world role-playing video game franchise this year. This is, of course, if it will follow its release pattern.

Tracing back to its previous releases, Bethesda gives itself around four years to craft a new endearing title. In turn, The Fuse Joplin thinks that it is time for a new title and it might as well be "Fallout 4." Industry insider and YouTuber MrMattyPlays feels the same. The BitBag gave a specific date for the launch and it is during the E3 2015 event scheduled June 16 to 18.

Gaming Bolt compared the "Fallout" developer to Rockstar, which releases its titles when it is ready and that is regardless of the time frame. The site added the amount of time and work Bethesda took for "Elder Scrolls Online" to really take off and it seems that making "Fallout 4," tied up with huge pressure and expectations, will not be painless.

Dissecting the cause of the supposed delay of the installment, Motoring Crunch blames it all on an alleged online component of "Fallout 4." Despite fans' blatant distaste of the idea, Bethesda is said to be "amazed" on how "Elder Scrolls Online" became a smash hit, which reportedly led them to morph their future titles into MMORPG, where gamers can get into action both in single player and multiplayer modes.

Other rumors about "Fallout 4" and its makings involve its would-be setting, which is expected to be either Boston or China. However, majority of Reddit users imagine battles set in the former, as the city has become a hub for robot researches. Gameranx adds that the title is likely going to land on current-gen consoles alone.
