'Fallout 4' release date: Artist claims working with Mirada Studios on trailer for game

Fallout 3 Bethesda

"Fallout 4," the long-demanded, hotly-anticipated continuation to Bethesda's mega successful role-playing open world video game series, has been a frequent topic of rumor mills these past few days, and due to the gaming community's desire to see the title, it still lingers.

The latest buzz is that a trailer, whose existence has yet to be confirmed by the game's maker, has already been put together. A 3D artist claims in his profile in LinkedIn that he worked for California-based Mirada Studios on a "Fallout 4" cinematic trailer from December 2014 to March 2015.

The freelance creative, who already removed the "Fallout 4" mention on his profile, also stated on his online CV that he lent his talents to the making of cinematic trailers for other games like "Elder Scrolls Online," which is another Bethesda-developed title, "Far Cry 4," and "Forza Motorsport."

While the authenticity of the info is still in question, a report from Destructoid says that the alleged studio linked to the project, which film director Guillermo De Toro owns, declared that the artist has breached a non-disclosure agreement and that his profile should be removed immediately.

This sighting lines up pretty nicely with previous rumors involving Bethesda's impending showcase of "Fallout 4." There are speculations that the game company's press conference at the Electronic Entertainment Expo on June 14 will be centered on the presentation of a 20- or 30-minute gameplay footage from the title.

Despite all the noise these "Fallout 4" speculations make, the studio is still mum about the game and still shuns from confirming or debunking claims about the game's existence. Bethesda has not said a word about previous rumors such as the game's alleged Boston setting or its suspected E3 2013 appearance, which, obviously, did not happen.

And it seems like Bethesda won't be breaking its radio silence. So for now, fans are left to wait for the E3 2015 event in June to see if the Los Angeles Convention Center will be the stage where "Fallout 4" will make its debut.
