With so many fighters in the "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" (there is a total of 87), gamers would want to be invested in trying each and every one of these heroes and villains.

Anime Games Online has provided a guide for players to do just that in addition to getting access to unique costumes and forms of the said fighters.

The majority of the versions of characters like Gohan, Cooler and Cell are spread out in various sagas from the story mode of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" so it will take some work to complete the whole lineup of a character.

The Saiyan Saga of the story mode of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" will have Goku, Time Patroller, Kid Gohan, Vegeta, Piccolo, Tien, Yamcha, Saibaman, Raditz, Nappa and Jaco.

"Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players should then have to complete the Namek/Frieza Saga in the story mode to unlock Frieza's first form, final form and full power form in addition to Zarbon, Dodoria, Nail, Guldo, Recoome, Burter, Jeice, Ginyu and Cooler's fourth form.

By the end of Android/Cell Saga, players should be able to have Cell's first form and full power, Cell Jr., Android 16, Android 17 and Android 18 in addition to Teen Gohan and Metal Cooler.

Finishing the Future Trunks Saga from "Dragon Ball Z" in the story mode of "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" should bring Future Trunks ("DBZ" version), Future Gohan and Cell Perfect to the fold.

Those who would like to have Majin Vegeta, Majin Buu, Super Buu and Kid Buu playable should finish the Buu Saga saga and they should get Adult Gohan, Gotenks, Janemba, Broly and his Supervillain version to boot.

The Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan (SSGSS) versions of Vegeta and Goku won't be playable until "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" players surpass the Battle of Gods and Resurrection F Saga in the story mode.

Golden Frieza and his Supervillain counterpart as well as Beerus, Whis, Cooler's Supervillain form, Appule, and Raspberry will also be unlocked on top of Tien and Gohan's Resurrection F costumes.

Those who have been pining for Future Trunks from "Dragon Ball Super" will get him as a playable character in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" after the Masked Saiyan and final boss battles. Bardock, Masked Saiyan, Towa, Mira and her Supervillain form will also be playable after that.

After this feat, players will have to collect the five Distorted Time Eggs, which they can retrieve from the Capsule Corporation, Frieza's spaceship and the houses of Guru, Hercule, and Majin Buu, respectively.

With that task done, Super Saiyan 3 Bardock should be unlocked, and the story mode unlockable characters in "Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2" should be complete.

Players will then turn to Parallel Quests (there are 100 of them), where they will be able to unlock other characters and all sorts of unique costumes including Vegito (parallel quest 58 with an alternate form at parallel quest 91), Super Saiyan God Goku (quest 67), Gogeta (quest 81), SSJ4 Goku, SSJ4 Vegeta and Pan (quest 93).
