"Dragon Ball Super" will continue the suspense and action in episode 61, "Zamasu's Ambition: The Human Elimination Plan is Divulged."
Although Gowasu was saved and present Zamasu was destroyed, the future remains unchanged as future Zamasu and his powerful ally, Goku Black, are still alive.
According to Attack of the Fanboy, this is possible due to "Dragon Ball Super's" use of the multiverse theory. The site points out that Future Trunks knew present Zamasu's death meant nothing because he has seen this before.
In "Dragon Ball Z," the future timeline where Future Trunks came from stayed in the same precarious position, even after Android 17 and Android 18 became good-hearted in the present.
The present Zamasu's death only made sure Goku's present timeline is untouched and safe. This is not the same for Future Trunks' timeline as what the next "Dragon Ball Super" episodes will reveal.
In "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61, it looks like the future Zamasu will get the chance push his evil plan to destroy every mortal in the universe. Zamasu has developed intense abhorrence towards humans that he wanted to get rid of every last one of them. Despite the efforts of the heroes, it looks like he will still be able to go through with it.
This does not mean he will be successful, though. Goku and company have not given up on stopping Goku Black and Zamasu just yet, and they will take the fight in "Dragon Ball Super" episode 61.
As for episode 60 of the anime, which is titled "Goku Black's identity revealed," it looks like the identity of Goku's doppelganger will be revealed.
This was suggested in the promo video, where Goku said that Goku Black "is not a fake of me." This suggests that the powerful baddie is not a clone but either a completely different person or a different version of himself.
