Donald Trump news: US President focuses on fair trade and passing of tax bill

United States President Donald Trump is happy about his participation in the 31st ASEAN Summit held in the Philippines this week. Trump's Asia trip focused on the development of trade between the United States and other nations.

Trump recently made an announcement about a major statement he will be delivering upon his return to the White House.

"I will be making a major statement from the @WhiteHouse upon my return to D.C. Time and date to be set," POTUS tweeted.

Trump also took a shot at former administrations, including the previous one by former President Barrack Obama. Trump made it clear that his objective for talking to world leaders from all over was to promote "fair trade deals."

"Just arrived at #ASEAN50 in the Philippines for my final stop with World Leaders. Will lead to FAIR TRADE DEALS, unlike the horror shows from past administrations," he stated.

Trump is also looking forward to the passing of the Great Tax Bill by the House of Representatives upon his return. The bill aims to cut the tax rate of middle-class workers in the United States. The tax bill, however, had been targeted by analysts.

One of Trump's most recent posts on Twitter tackles a Presidential Tracking Poll released by Rasmussen Reports. According to the latest poll, 46 percent of U.S. voters approve and are happy about the efforts of the Trump administration.

Trump clarified that there is fake news circulating online about a false poll with a 30 percent approval rate. He captioned his post about the Rasmussen Reports with, "One of the most accurate polls last time around. But #FakeNews likes to say we're in the 30's. They are wrong. Some people think numbers could be in the 50's."

Trump concluded, "We will make America great again."

Trump has had a long-running struggle with fake news involving a variety of issues like the one with North Korea.
