'Dishonored 2' cheats, tips, tricks: How to avoid killing anyone on a low chaos stealth playthrough

"Dishonored 2's" plot is nothing to write home about, but Bethesda more than makes up for it with the excellent gameplay. The question players should ask themselves before they start a game is: Is this going to be a low chaos stealth playthrough or a high chaos hack-and-slash approach?

For players who enjoy speedrunning through a game, the obvious choice is a stealth playthrough. Why fight if you can easily avoid conflict. Well, this action/stealth game is perfect for gamers who are tired of hacking their way through a game. Gamer Vlado Le managed to finish the game in hard mode without killing anyone, and he shared some tips with Kotaku.

One of the best tips Le gave was to observe first before acting. Learn the layout of the place. Vlado said he tried to find safe spots above ground so he could check out the path the enemy patrols were taking. Peeking around corners also helps, however, it should be noted that players can be spotted sometimes, so be extra cautious when doing this. Being above ground still safer. He pointed out that taking out enemies is the last thing one should do since it is better to avoid them.

Le explained that howling bolts are effective against summoned dogs, but sleeping bolts are ineffective. He also saved up his razor or stun traps for the robotic Clockwork Soldiers. This is a good idea since these contraptions are a nuisance with the damage they inflict. Sure, players can beat them the conventional way, but why waste time? Le also said players should equip bone charms like Exacting Aim to upgrade the crossbow. Well, players can just collect every bone charm they come across.

Players who are tired of searching every crack and crevice for runes can check out this list of locations compiled by Gamepur. And here's a list of locations where players can find bone charms.

"Dishonored 2" is now available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and Microsoft Windows PC.
