'Dance Moms' season 5 spoilers: ADLC goes to Australia

Dance Moms season 5 Lifetime

ALDC is headed to Australia to dazzle fans Down Under by performing at the ASTRA Awards. Dance mom Holly Frazier is as excited as everyone else in the group as her daughter and her fellow talented dancers will make their debut in Australia. However, their trip there is not going to be as buttery smooth as they would like it to be and "Dance Moms" season 5 episode 20 will show just why and how it will take a dramatic turn.

The elite dance crew will fly to Australia without Abby as the ADLC founder forgot to bring her passport with her. Without Abby to answer to the slew of media waiting to throw questions at them there, Maddie Ziegler was tasked to take her place to take care of the media. However, the young dance prodigy will have to miss what the synopsis said is a "crucial rehearsal" in order to do that.

Ultimately, this ensues turmoil at backstage with her fellow dancers worried about her absence in the rehearsal. The experience, according to Maddie, was "nerve-wracking." But even after her efforts to dance and to be the face of her dance troupe, Maddie, in the end, had a reason to be upset.

"Just remember with fame, you never know when your star is going to end," Abby tells her and the rest of the group in the trailer for the upcoming "Dance Moms" episode. This hurt and upset Maddie, causing her to walk out of the room.

Apart from this, the "Dance Moms" episode will also show Jessalynn Siwa confronting her daughter JoJo's co-dancers' moms, who was seen making fun of her in a video captured during the ADLC's dance stint in Ireland back in March.

In other related news, Abby will open a new dance studio in Los Angeles on May 30. Despite this, she made it clear that her dance studio in Pittsburgh, which she nurtured for her parents, will always be her home.

"Dance Moms" season 5 episode 20 titled "Dance Moms Down Under" airs May 19. Part of the Australia experience will be shown on May 26.
