Perhaps, this particular game is the best time to see if the Cowboys' season decisions with their trade strategies and roster building have been well thought out by the members of their staff. However, will the Cowboys beat the Chargers?
In a report by The Dallas Cowboys, the Chargers should be expected to blast through the doors with a full head of steam, since they have won their second game in a row against the Buffalo Bills with a commanding score of 54-24. The Cowboys have a better league score, sitting at five wins and five losses against the Chargers' four wins and six losses — but they will be entering the Thanksgiving special game fresh off of two losses in a row.
This may not bode well for the Cowboys, and could have something to do with their team work. Sky Sports has reported that Jason Witten, who plays tight end for the Cowboys, admitted to having some difficulties in their game as of late. The 15-year vet has stated that it is important for their team to understand their current ranking in the league, and that commitment and determination will be important ahead of the Thanksgiving day game against the Chargers.
As a seasoned veteran, Witten believes that their current roster has what it takes to still make a significant turnaround moving forward in the season. According to Sports Day, Peter King has detailed who the most important players in the roster for the Cowboys are currently. On the offensive side, he named Tyron Smith and Ezekiel Elliott, as well as Dak Prescott. However, Ezekiel Elliott is still suspended for charges of domestic abuse.
Having said that, King also stressed the importance of keeping players healthy all throughout the season, while Elliott serves his full six game suspension.
