WWE power couple CM Punk and AJ Lee are both active on Twitter, igniting rumors that Punk may potentially return to the league after his supposed retirement, while his wife allegedly plans to leave the wrestling federation after being defeated by Paige during this year's SummerSlam.

Punk had been posting about the television shows that he and his wife had been watching over the past few days. One of these is the documentary titled "Supermench," which is about Shep Gordon. According to the wrestler, the show is "highly recommended."

He also said that he is having fun while watching "Dark Knight Rises" as well as "The Strain."

Punk also tweeted that he and his wife had been re-watching The Walking Dead, since the female wrestler has not watched the show yet.

According to his tweet, "My wife is finally watching @TheWalkingDead and I'm fighting the urge to blurt out 'dead!' every time a character who dies later pops up."

On the other hand, Lee had been busy retweeting the pictures of her fans who are wearing her iconic clothing as well as her other accessories.

Meanwhile, Wrestling Inc. recently reported that the big bosses of WWE told Paul Heyman that they never really wanted CM Punk from the start.

"When I was in Louisville, doing WWE Developmental, they sent CM Punk down to me so I could fire him. Every week I would send memos to guys who were in charge of the Raw and SmackDown rosters saying, 'You have a main eventer down here; someone scoop him up' and no one would take him for a year—to the point when we launched ECW in WWE, I brought him with me because no one else on Raw and SmackDown even wanted him," Heyman said.

However, Heyman claimed that Punk still became successful in the league despite being unwanted in the WWE.
