Chris Brown and Rihanna back together? Brown trying to win her back?

Although not so daddy-approved, word on the street is that R&B singer Chris Brown is making efforts to revive his relationship with songster Rihanna. According to various reports, the "Loyal" singer has been sending romantic text messages to his former love in the hopes of giving their romance another chance.

While it may seem way out of the question for their sparks to fly again after the rapper left his ex-girlfriend battered in 2008, new rumors say that it is not so impossible after all. Others have been suggesting that Rihanna is entertaining it, too. After Brown and Karrueche Tran's relationship publicly ended last month in Instagram (involving rapper Drake as the third party), reports suggest that Brown is making attempts in getting the "Diamonds" singer back in his arms. However, a source revealed that this would not work.

"Rihanna has moved on from all that drama Chris brings along with him, she is in a much better place now both personally and with her career. So she is not going to entertain his vibe again," the insider said.

Furthermore, IB Times shared that RiRi would not have time for it as she is busy with completing "R8," the songstress's eighth album and other commitments such as the one with Puma, where she was recently conferred as creative director.

The "California King Bed" singer's hectic schedule is not the only reason hindering their possible reunion. Rihanna's father Robert Fenty had plenty of scornful words for his daughter's former boyfriend after the violent assault. The Inquisitr stated that him approving of it now is not likely at all. In addition, Fenty believes that Rihanna is over the drama and that dealing with guys like Brown is not a right of way for the singer. Although the former couple could not help but stumble upon each other in big events, Fenty stated that simple greetings like "hi" and "hello" is already considered peak of their communication. That is not counting the "cold shoulder" Rihanna reportedly gave Brown in a charity basketball event back in August.
