Voight (Jason Beghe) will be visited by somebody from his past in the next story arc for "Chicago P.D." season 4, who will be played by "Revenge" alum Nick Wechsler.

The actor will play the recurring role of Kenny Rixton, who happens to be Voight's former protégé back when they were working in the gang unit. He will be in several episodes airing next year although there is no word how many.

TV Line reports that Wechsler will first appear in episode 10 of "Chicago P.D." season 4, "Don't Read the News," which means that fans won't have to wait that long to know his story.

The "Chicago P.D." season 4 newcomer is best known for his role as Jack Porter in the ABC television drama series, "Revenge." His role in the NBC police drama is being kept mostly under wraps at the moment.

Meanwhile, the series will air its two-hour special today, Nov. 16, and this episode will serve as the show's fall finale. The show will bid goodbye Antonio (Jon Seda), who will join the "Chicago P.D." spinoff, "Chicago Justice."

There, he will be lead investigator in the State Attorney's office. The job will be offered to him in the first half of the "Chicago P.D." season 4 two-part special, "300,000 Likes."

He will then make his decision in the second half, "A Shot Heard Around the World," where his colleagues will give him a proper send-off.

Antonio has been all over the "Chicago" shows. He got his start in "Chicago Fire" before he joined the folks at "Chicago P.D." He, however, still appears to some extent in the former due to his romantic relationship with Killmer (Sylvie Brett).

"He's still a cop. He loves being a Chicago cop, and that's something that he's always wanted to be. So that's going to factor in. But moving over to the State's Attorney's office and being a lead investigator, he has his own unit there," the actor said of his character's jump in an interview with TV Line.

"He still gets to bring down the bad guys and help his city, just on a wider range because he'll now have state-wide jurisdiction, which he didn't have before. It's a different place. It's something that he has to get used to," he went on to say.
