Chicago Bulls NBA 2015 news, rumors: Is Tom Thibodeau firing imminent?

Will it be the last hurrah for Tom Thibodeau in Chicago?

If rumors hold true, Thibodeau could be sacked by season's end, regardless of how the Bulls end up.

News about the firing of Tom Thibodeau is nothing new. He has had his differences with management and such has apparently become a reason for the imminent firing of the Thibodeau despite churning out an incredible performance for the Chicago Bulls.

Thibodeau, the NBA coach of the year in 2010-2011, has so far guided the Bulls with an impressive 255-139 record. But despite these murmurs, Thibodeau seems to be undaunted. The task at hand is to carry the Bulls to as far as they can in the ongoing NBA playoffs and then worry about that much celebrated firing later.

And with Derrick Rose somehow back Thibodeau can try and exit in style, regardless of his fate at the end of the season. A name being mentioned to take over Thibodeau is Fred Hoiberg, a former Chicago Bull.

If Thibodeau does end up leaving the Bulls, he is not expected to remain jobless for long.

One team waiting in the wings is the Orlando Magic. Originally the Magic had set their eyes on Billy Donovan. But everyone perhaps knows by now that Donovan has agreed to take over the coaching reigns of the Oklahoma City Thunder.

Looking back at his track record with the Bulls, it is not surprising why Thibodeau would be a prime candidate for various head coaching job vacancies at the moment. He has proven how he can guide a team despite being battered throughout the years so it will become interesting how he can weave his magic over at Orlando.

Orlando is a team comprised of young players who could shine with the guidance of Thibodeau. Hence, this could be the reason why Orlando has not named any candidates for the head coaching job, apparently keeping a close watch on whether the Bulls would really fire Thibodeau or not.
