'Blue Bloods' season 5 episode 20 spoilers: Frank faces moral dilemma, Danny and Baez investigate murder of reality TV chef in episode 20

Last week's offering from "Blue Bloods" was a show-and-tell about the complex relationship between the police force and the journalism world. It was a "random" episode, not something viewers normally see in the series, and this week, another unusual case is handed to the team.

Episode 20 is titled "Payback" and based on the synopsis alone, it is hard to tell who wants the payback and who's getting the shorter end of the stick. The official synopsis goes:

When a suspect voluntarily admits to killing a reality show celebrity chef in his own restaurant, Danny and Baez are convinced the suspect is taking the fall for someone. Also, Frank faces a moral dilemma when a longtime friend, Sen. Ted McCreary, asks for Frank's help to make a DUI go away, and investigative journalist Anne Farrell returns."

In the preview for the next episode, there are different elements here and there. For one, Danny's emotional storyline in the past episodes has certainly attracted the interest of the show's fans. How will this case affect Danny? How will his story continue to play out?

However, the main plot seen in the preview is that of Frank's moral dilemma. A lifeless body is seen on the street and it appears to be a case of DUI. Later in the preview, Sen. Ted McCreary is seen talking to Frank personally and asking him to make the case go away. How will Frank go about his friend's request, one that goes against his moral beliefs?

Meanwhile, CarterMatt has also revealed the synopsis for the upcoming two-part season finale. The synopsis for the first part goes

When NYPD Deputy Chief Donald Kent, a commanding officer of the gang division, and his wife are gunned down in an apparent gang hit, Frank orders all hands on deck to catch his friend's killer. Working the case, Danny and Baez go see Mario Hunt, a well-known member of a deadly gang."

"Blue Blood" season 5 episode 20 will air on April 10, while the first part of the two-part season finale will air on April 24.
