Bigfoot footage VIDEO, PHOTO: HD clip claims that Bigfoot exists

Scientists in Dallas have held a press conference this week purporting that they have obtained HD video footage that proves Bigfoot exists.

The team come together under the title The Sasquatch Genome Project, which is led by veterinarian Melba Ketchum.

Ketchum claims to have spent the last five years collecting Bigfoot DNA specimens, so that she can gather evidence to show that the legendary sasquatch does in fact exist.

The press conference held this week generated lots of excitement as the group promised to show "never-before-seen, high definition video of Bigfoot subjects inhabiting the forests of North America."

The video footage shows clips of what the scientists claim is a juvenile Bigfoot walking through the woods.

In another shot the group claims an older Bigfoot's face can be seen – that image was collected way back in 2005.

However, despite the video footage and the researchers' claims that Bigfoot is real, there are many doubters and many asking questions about the evidence that has so far gone unanswered.

Ketchum has written on the Sasquatch Genome Project website, "Rather than spend another five years just trying to find a journal to publish and hoping that decent, open-minded reviewers would be chosen, we acquired the rights to this journal and renamed it so we would not lose the passing peer reviews that are expected by the public and the scientific community."
