An update on the premium pass page for "Battlefield 1" revealed information about one more faction that is set to be added in the first-person shooter.

Coming to the game via downloadable content (DLC) is the Russian army. The Russians will be joining the French army as playable factions in an upcoming expansion pack for "Battlefield 1."

The addition of the latter was revealed way before the World War 1-inspired game was launched. What EA DICE did not say is that there will be another troop being added in one DLC.

The "Battlefield 1" premium pass will not only add the two factions. Players who purchase it will also enjoy two-week early access privileges to each expansion pack.

There will also be tons of new operations and game modes "for more ways to play" in addition to 20 new weapons, 16 multiplayer maps, a set of new vehicles and elite classes.

As for the release date of the "Battlefield 1" DLCs, EA DICE is not ready to divulge that information yet. With the game released just a couple of weeks ago, gamers are just starting to find their way through the shooter.

The company did tease that the first DLC for "Battlefield 1," which is called "They Shall Not Pass," will be released in March 2017.

In other related news, it is being said that "Battlefield 1" will affect the sales of "Titanfall 2," which dropped a week after the former.

During an earnings call, EA CEO Andrew Wilson addressed the buzz about the two shooters being released so closely together and with "Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare" following them up.

"We're very, very excited about the quality in both titles. We believe they both will have a long sale cycle, both this quarter through the festive season and deep into the years to come," he said as quoted by GameSpot.

"And so as we think about the long game on this, we couldn't be in a better position for what we think is delivering great games to a very, very big player base," he went on to say.
