'Batman v Superman' movie spoilers: Joe Letteri teases standalone sequence

 Warner Bros.

For all Batman and Superman fans, the anxiety and excitement for the upcoming movie continues to heighten. Now it is already 2015, which only means one thing — "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is getting closer. But since the movie is slated for release in 2016, what everyone can do now is talk about the different spoilers and news about the movie, one of which is the post-production phase that Zack Snyder and his team are in at the moment.

Filming for the movie is now complete. Snyder is also done with the principal photography of the movie and is now focusing on the post-production, reports Screen Rant. Seeing that this is one of the biggest movies from Warner Bros. and given the number of superheroes included in the film, Snyder and the team are making sure everything's perfect.

In any superhero movie, the action sequences have always stood out. This was the case for "Man of Steel" and will certainly be the same case for "Dawn of Justice." It won't be a surprise if Snyder even takes it up a notch with this one. But then again, that's what Snyder has in mind when getting visual effects guru Joe Letteri on board.

Letteri spoke to Collider and dropped a massive teaser as to what kind of action sequence he will be doing for "Dawn of Justice."

He said, "I can't really give anything away, but it is a standalone sequence. And I think you will be able to pick it out when you do see it."

Right now, the said footage is unknown, but for sure, it wasn't included in the footage shown at the San Diego Comic Con in 2014. What could it be? Screen Rant predicts that it could be a self-contained sequence that has little impact on the major plot. Further, it could also be the scene wherein Superman had to rescue Lois Lane in the Middle East.

With Snyder hard at work in making Batman, Superman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman appear their best in the movie, fans need not worry about the long wait. For for an epic movie like this to be perfect, there should be no rush at all.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will hit theaters on March 25, 2016.
