'Batman v Superman' spoilers: Trailer teases mission; another superhero to be introduced?

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" is bringing back Christina Wren to reprise her role as Major Carrie Farris. But rumor mills started suggesting that the character will move on to different DC films, too, particularly in a "Green Lantern" movie.

"So there's some gossip. This has not been officially confirmed with me at all," Wren told Pittsburgh magazine.

In the DC universe, there is someone named Carol Farris, Green Lantern's love interest and eventualy female superhero Star Sapphire.

"But I have no idea if that's the plan. They're not even slated to do a Green Lantern film for several years," the actress shared.

While this remains to be seen, Wren also spoke about "Batman v Superman Dawn of Justice."

"I can tell you that I think it's going to be bad*ss! They're just such an awesome team," the actress shared to the magazine. "The bits that I was on set for look fantastic; everyone in it is fantastic. It's exciting; it's high-energy; it's high-action. They are addressing all of the things that they set up in 'Man of Steel.'"

But up until now, a trailer for the insanely hyped up superhero movie has yet to appear. Fans have been longing to see a glimpse of the massive duel of DC Comics' biggest superheroes. There were previous rumors that a clip would be shown during the Super Bowl but there was nothing. Now, reports are saying that Warner Bros. is saving the trailer for Comic Con 2015, which is scheduled in July. Fans want it so much that one or two of them managed to leak the coveted trailer online.

In the leaked footage, Batman's voice welcomes the viewers as it rings over scenes of a Metropolis in the worse for wear, exactly in the situation "Man of Steel" has left it. The Caped Crusader then holds Kryptonians responsible for all the downbeats of the world and promises to get to the bottom of it all. The next scene shows Batman confronting Superman of his plans of either being the hero of mankind or the one to tear it down. Their war of words fades into the "Batman v. Superman" logo with Batman's defiant voice saying, "I'm going to find out."

Fans are still at the edge of their seats for the real deal, hoping that Warner Bros. will release it soon.

"Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" will be out on March 25, 2016 and it stars Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman. The rest of the cast includes Gal Gadot as Wonder Woman, Jesse Eisenberg as Lex Luthor, Ray Fisher as Cyborg, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Jeremy Irons as Alfred Pennyworth, Laurence Fishburne as Perry White, and Diane Lane as Martha Kent.
