"Batman: Arkham Knight," one of the most-anticipated releases for this year under Warner Bros. and Rocksteady Studios, is now out across current-gen consoles and PC after a series of delays and setbacks, including a cancelled special edition title.

However, it seems that excited players still need to wait a little more in order to thoroughly enjoy the fourth and final game in the "Batman: Arkham" series of titles. According to reports, the almost 45 GB title still needs the day one patch coming in at almost 3.5 GB.

The day one patch update, common to big titles nowadays, offers tweaks and overall improvements to the game. Additionally, the update offers last-minute add-ons such as stability fixes, support for new game features Rival Points and Original Batsuit skins, and additional content support for "A Matter of Family."

Meanwhile, gamers and fans flocked to the forum threads to vent out frustrations over the release of the title, specifically the game's PC version. Most of the complaints have to do with the game's frame rate, especially for the loading screens and cut scenes.

Developer Rocksteady Studios has already acknowledged the issue, and stated that it is already working on a fix independent of the day one patch update.

According to the post at the community forum of Warner Bros., "We're aware that some users are reporting performance issues with the PC version of 'Batman: Arkham Knight'. This is something that Rocksteady takes very seriously."

The post added that Rocksteady is already in touch with its PC division to make sure that the issues concerning the PC version will be fixed faster.

A community manager for the game stated, "We are working closely with our external PC development partner to make sure these issues get resolved as quickly as possible."
