The Japanese version of "Attack on Titan" chapter 87 has been leaked, and it is now the center of attention, thanks to its new set of revelations.
The latest chapter of the "Attack on Titan" manga provided an awful lot of details in a brutal flashback to Grisha's life being played inside Eren's mind.
It was primarily revealed how a Titan is made, and it turns out that it involves different types of serum for each size: the more serum, the bigger the Titan.
The identity of The Owl, who was first mentioned in the previous chapter revealed to have been helping the Elodians break through their rival's prosecution, was also revealed in "Attack on Titan" chapter 87.
The spy in the Marleyan government turns out to be Kruger, who revealed himself to Grisha just when the Marleyan soldier Klaus, who also happens to be the man who fed his sister to the dogs, was about to turn him into a Titan.
The Owl has been infiltrating the Marleyan government in the hopes of recovering the Progenitor Titan to end the reign of the clan. "Attack on Titan" chapter 87 also saw Grisha's wife, Dina, be made into a Titan.
Before she was turned into one, Grisha reveals that she had royal blood and was silenced by Kruger (who has not revealed himself at that time) before more Marleyan soldiers could hear him.
"Attack on Titan" chapter 88 is expected to explore Kruger's game plan, the reason he did not reveal himself until many of the Elodians were turned into mindless Titans and why he silenced Grisha when he talked about Dina being royalty.
The next chapter will also reveal how Grisha fits into all of Kruger's plans and how they eventually get away from all the chaos.
Another important takeaway from "Attack on Titan" chapter 87 is that Grisha kept telling Klaus that the history about the Elodians prosecuting the Marleyans for 1800 years was fabricated by the Marleyans themselves.
That being said, the real story about what happened thousands of years ago is still yet to be unraveled. Unfortunately, fans will have to wait until next month to find out more.
