Atom TV series: Ray Palmer's Atom to finally come out in 'Arrow' and 'Flash' spin-off?

Hearing about DC TV Universe seriously considering adding a third show after the Arrow and the Flash is not really surprising, especially since Ray Palmer (portrayed by Brandon Routh) has been constantly seen in the Arrow series.

While the Arrow and the Flash have been renewed for another season, rumors have it that the Atom may yet be the third show to join the superhero TV shows. And apparently this could happen through another Arrow spin-off which would focus on Routh's character.

To date, we have yet to see the Atom in actual action. Routh did show off the potential costume the Atom could wear but there are apprehensions on whether the Atom could make an impact similar to what the Flash has done after getting a push from one of the Arrow's episodes.

For the people who may be unfamiliar with the Atom, he is a DC coming superhero who can shrink himself to microcospic size and yet retain his normal strength.

Some may have seen him during the Justice League or Super Friends animation series before so if ever there would be a fan base ready for the Atom, it could be the people who are readily familiar with him during the good old days.

So where does Felicity (Smoak) end up if the Atom gets its own series? Well just like in the Flash and the Arrow, she could be busy making appearances in all of them.

Basing it on the series flow on the Arrow, Ray Palmer may not yet be ripe to romp off on his own TV series. Apparently his character is more of secondary and while many DC fans would love to see another superhero series, the reception for such may not necessarily be as great compared to the Flash and the Arrow.

Regardless, this was something seen as forthcoming although the timing is in questions. Could it be time for Ray Palmer to finally come out as the Atom? Let us wait and see.
