The Asus ZenFone 3, ZenFone 3 Deluxe, and ZenFone 3 Ultra were recently unveiled, during the Zenvolution event a few days ago.
Asus did not give exact details on the phones' release date and simply declared a third-quarter release. Now, there are rumors going around that the ZenFone 3 Deluxe will arrive in August.
According to a report by Manila Shaker, a faster ZenFone 3 Deluxe smartphone will be arriving in the Philippines, India and possibly other regions, and will be sporting the powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 823. This processor is capable of reaching clock speeds of up to 3.0 GHz and can support up to 8GB of RAM. However, the upcoming phone will be equipped with 6GB RAM. Another variant is said to be containing a Snapdragon 820 chip.
Additionally, the 5.7-inch phone offers a full HD resolution at 1080 x 1920 pixels with its Super AMOLED display. It offers dual-SIM capability, runs on ZenUI 3.0 on top of the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS version.
On the rear, a 23MP camera, dubbed PixelMaster 3.0, can be found which comes with a Sony IMX318 sensor can. The main camera features OIS, EIS, HDR, laser autofocus, 4K video recording, and a dual-LED flash. Below the camera is a fingerprint sensor. The selfie camera is an 8MP wide-angle lens, capable of recording 1080p videos.
The Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe comes with several internal storage capacity options: 64GB, 128GB and 256GB, expandable by up to 128 GB via a microSD card. A 3,000 mAh battery provides the power juice and utilizes Qualcomm's Quick Charge 3.0 for faster recharging via the USB Type-C port. It will also arrives in three colors: Titanium Gray, Glacier Silver and Sand Gold.
News Everyday added that the soon-to-be released Asus phone offers a full-metal body, and the company is claiming to be the first to offer an invisible antenna design. It weighs about 170 grams and measures 56.4 x 77.4 x 7.5mm.
With regards to pricing, the Asus ZenFone 3 Deluxe with an SD 820 chip is estimated to be around US$499 while the SD 823 variant will have a US$599 price.
