A little over halfway into the season, "Arrow" is pulling every rabbit out of the hat to make season 3 the best one yet. This week, Arrow's arch-nemesis returns and he's not a happy camper.

In episode 14 titled "The Return," Slade Wilson a.k.a. Deathstroke is making his return to the show. The official synopsis reads:

"Malcolm puts Oliver and Thea in a dangerous situation that lands them on Lian Yu with Oliver's former enemy, Deathstroke. A flashback reveals when Oliver and Maseo returned to Starling City to retrieve the Omega bio weapon, and despite being under strict orders from Amanda Waller not to reveal himself to anyone, Oliver looks in on his family, Laurel and Tommy. Dermott Downs directed the episode written by Marc Guggenheim & Erik Oleson."

Based on the synopsis, Deathstroke isn't the only one fans are going to see again. Oliver's ex-best friend Tommy will also be back. And if that's not enough, the extended trailer for episode 14 shows what Oliver and Thea will go through in Lian Yu.

TVLine had some questions regarding the return of Deathstroke in the show. Is it going to be in a form of a flashback or will he reappear in the present day?

Showrunner Andrew Kreisberg said, "Slade is definitely [resurfacing] in the present day. And his disposition remains unchanged. Not that he's ever happy, but he's particularly unhappy. When he comes back, he's out for blood."

Meanwhile, fans can recall that in the Dallas Comic Con, actor Stephen Amell said something about a change in his Arrow costume. While that isn't happening yet, showrunner Marc Guggenheim confirms the coming changes.

"You'll see a wide variety of changes coming for Arrow. There's a lot that's happening in the latter half of the year that will require some big, wholesale changes," he told TVLine

"Arrow" will air "The Return" on Feb. 18 on The CW.
