Ariel Winter and boyfriend Levi Meaden: Couple seen hand-in-hand in Los Angeles, amid engagement rumors

Ariel Winter and Levi Meaden step out hand-in-hand amid rumors that she is expecting a Christmas proposal from the actor.

The 19-year-old "Modern Family" actress was seen with her 30-year-old beau while they were heading to a friend's party in Los Angeles. Both celebrities sported a laid-back casual look.

The couple has been very open about their relationship since they were first rumored to be together in fall of 2016. In May, the couple started living together in Winter's LA apartment.

The actress dished about their living arrangements on People, at the 200th episode celebration of "Modern Family." In the interview, Winter said she "definitely" sees herself tying the knot with the "Pacific Rim" actor, adding that "long term" is her goal.

The couple recently celebrated their first anniversary, which Winter shared via a couple of Instagram photos. The first was a formal shot of the two of them in evening wear, while the second is a sexier snap of the couple back dropped by a waterfall. In the caption, Winter said she is the "luckiest girl in the world." She also thanked Meaden "for being the incredible man you are, and for making me the happiest I could've ever imagined."

Her racy photo earned some negative remarks from the public, but Winter said she does not let it get to her.

"I think you just get to a certain point after you have been hated on so much that you just realize that people are gonna say what they are gonna say no matter what and it really doesn't matter, you can't care," she told People.

Last week, a source told Hollywood Life that the couple has been openly talking about getting engaged, most probably this coming Christmas holidays. Gossip Cop, however, claims that the rumor is baseless and "nonsense," as said by a representative for Winter.
