Apple Watch release date set for next spring 2015?

Apple has yet to narrow down the "early 2015" release date window for its spanking new wearable, the Apple Watch, but it seems like enthusiasts of the Cupertino-based company can expect the new watch by spring. The revelation came from Apple SVP Angela Ahrendts, as cited by 9to5Mac. This means that there are only a few months remaining before the Apple Watch comes out in the flesh.

Before it even materializes, several reviews have already put the Apple Watch up against existing and forthcoming wearables in the showground. Apple has released loads of information on what it plans to stuff into its timepiece and as the company continues to make progress, it seems that it has been updating its users subtly by adding more information in their Apple Watch page online. 9to5Mac took notice promptly, reporting that changes were applied and new details were added on the page hub of the Apple Watch, which now includes Timekeeping, New Ways to Connect, and Health & Fitness.

On the other hand, I Know Today is not very much stoked for the rollout of the Apple Watch. It commented on how budget-unfriendly it is and it claimed how the timepiece lacks functionality that users would actually need. Nevertheless, those who await the Apple Watch cannot be stopped from checking out the device when it comes out next year, with expectations that Apple is in the middle of a wearable breakthrough.

The Apple Watch has three variants, namely the Apple Watch, the Apple Watch Sport and the Apple Watch Edition. It has two size options — 38 mm and 42 mm. It sports health apps designed for tracking fitness progress such as a heart rate sensor and an app for tracking calories burned and steps taken. It has a crown that looks like that of the traditional watch, but with more innovation, of course. Unlike other wearables that have the dial function as the home button, Apple designed its product to allow users to zoom and to pan within the watch. Its rectangular watch face is of custom alloys (18 karat gold for the Edition) and its hefty array of bands caters to the unique taste of each user.
