Despite the massive amount of hype that has been circulating the highly-anticipated video game "Anthem," it looks like it will not be released within this year — which is something that may disappoint a lot of expectant gamers. It has been a while since video game developers, BioWare, has released a new title, and fans should be pleased to know that the developers are hard at work to make sure that the game delivers everyone's expectations.

As reported by IGN, all hands are on deck in the production of "Anthem," with all of the major producers and developers of BioWare being heavily involved in the creation of the game. It appears that BioWare has a lot of faith in the upcoming title that is rumored to rival Bungie's "Destiny" games, and is already recognized as a very ambitious title. Given that the game is slated to become an online action title, the rivalry seems plausible.

It is notable to mention that BioWare has not been hyping up "Anthem" recently by way of promotional content, or even official trailers. Having said that, a delay in the projected release date for the game should not surprise anyone, and could possibly be a sign that BioWare is making sure that the game is as polished as possible ahead of its release. In fact, reports have surfaced already that the map size of "Anthem" is, at this point, already bigger than that of "Destiny."

Additionally, BioWare has expressed that they want players to feel a great sense of freedom as they explore the lush and expansive open world of the game. This is achieved through the high-tech mechanical suits in the game which allow players to fly around the map as well as navigate underwater. These features may have excited a lot of fans, but such will have their limits to avoid in-game exploitations and cheating.
