Amiibo Mewtwo pre-order on Best Buy; 'Animal Crossing' Lottie, Ike hit Target as exclusives

Mewtwo Amiibo Best Buy

Amiibo collectors have a lot to gawk at with tons of must-have figurines currently for the taking. Several online retailers have a lot on offer but as collectors and fans of the Nintendo toy line-up know by now, it is crucial to get ahead because supply runs out fast. While the shortage seems to have been dealt with, it is best to be quick still.

The Mewtwo Amiibo is back in stock and is now available for pre-order from Best Buy. The retail giant lists a Nov. 13 release date with a $12.99 price tag. It is best to place an order early because as Destructoid reminds fans, this particular figurine flew off the shelves in a snap and it could happen again.

A slew of "Animal Crossing" Amiibo treats are also up for grabs. Amiibo Alerts, who obtained a stock check photo from Target, revealed that the Lottie figurine will be an exclusive to the said retailer in the United States when it formally releases on Nov. 22. Shortly after, Nov. 27 to be exact, Gamestop will fill it shelves with the Ike Amiibo.

These rare figures are priced $12.99 and will both be compatible with the highly anticipated Wii U exclusive "Animal Crossing: Amiibo Festival," which will be out Nov. 13 in North America and Nov. 21 in the rest of the globe. But Nintendo is showing more love to fans of the franchise, this time to those who live in Japan.

Collectors and gamers in the country get to score an adorable "Animal Crossing" Diorama, where they can display their Amiibos in when they purchase "Amiibo Festival" together with either two amiibo figures or one figure and a pack of Amiibo cards. The diorama is not available for purchase and only comes as a freebie. It is unclear if it will ever be released outside Japan.
