'American Horror Story' season 4 episode 11 spoiler: Elsa chases her dreams, Neil Patrick Harris joins the mix

Stanley has managed to dupe Elsa as she had her gearing up to get a shot as a famous star in Hollywood. With the manager post vacant, someone has to step in to run the freak show. This is where magician Chester's services are put to use.

Neil Patrick Harris is joining the freak ensemble in episode 11 of "American Horror Story: Freak Show" titled "Magical Thinking" as the new head of the carnival. His character shares the same penchant with Dandy — full-blown butchery, which only means that the series will not be holding back on swelling the death count. Chester's first fatality could be Ima as he intends to saw the plump freak in front of an audience in a bloodbath staged as a magic trick. Flirting with conjoined twins Bette and Dot will be his distraction in executing his plan.

An equally spine-chilling character to watch out for is the traveling salesman/ murderer magician's ventriloquist dummy. It appears that this doll is another sinister human who slips into existence only to chuckle at the idea of killing.

Speaking of the twins, the two will give the money they saved up for surgery to help Jimmy get a lawyer. Ethel Darling is dead and her son ended up behind bars for the Tupperware party massacre. This will prompt Del to step up as a father, hence viewers will see the strongman try to raise money for the finest attorney to help his son get out of jail. This may lead the father and son to the Museum of Morbid Curiosities, where Jimmy's lobster hands have become the new sight to see.

Going back to Elsa (Jessica Lange), Desiree has alerted her of Stanley's deceit. Elsa might be too enamored to believe her. Besides, she has a good chance of making her big dream come true. Pepper sees a bright future waiting in tinsel town ahead of her. This might cause Lange to leave "American Horror Story" for good. IB Times reported that the actress will not go back to the horror series after its fourth season.

With only three episodes left, "American Horror Story: Freak Show" will get darker and bloodier as it returns to FX on Jan. 7.
