Whether it is mined or devised by fans, there are theories online that will surely bring the spooks and the horrors to "Hotel."
One theory prevailing is all about the terrors. "American Horror Story: Hotel" may be going down "The Shining" road, a psychological hotel-based horror film that came out in the 1980 and was adapted from Stephen King's book. Since the FX anthology is all about fright, its theme would do the job.
International Business Times also suggests that "Psycho," which has a take on both murder and paranormal, will be great for the series as well. However, Design & Trend surmises that season 5 of the show will likely be based on real-life events.
On the other hand, a Reddit user's suggestion about exploring Satanism and demonic possession also sounds very fitting for Ryan Murphy's brainchild show. The fan believes that "Hotel California" and the demonic subliminal messages it is grounded upon will be great to see in the series' next season.
