Abby Lee Miller news: Miller posts certificate of completion classes in prison

Abby Lee Miller, who was once the star of the Lifetime reality television show "Dance Moms," is trying her best to remain active and productive while she serves her one-year prison sentence in the Federal Correctional Complex in Victorville, California. Miller posted a picture on her social media page addressing her fans, to update them on what she has been up to while she is in jail.

The dance instructor revealed her certificate of completion on her Instagram page, sharing that she has already taken the real estate class, and has in fact passed despite being in prison. The certificate was dated Dec. 15, which is pretty recent. In the caption of her post, Miller stated that she is "extremely proud" of obtaining a diploma for personal finance. It is quite evident that Miller is looking to learn from the mistakes that put her behind bars in the first place.

The classes that Miller took are part of a release preparation program, which is an option that is provided for the betterment of its prisoners. It has also been reported that the television celebrity completed her adult continuing education, or ACE, which eventually allowed her to take classes in real estate and personal finance. These are important classes for Miller, especially since she was found guilty of bankruptcy fraud back in July.

As reported by E! News, the identity of the person who posted on Miller's Instagram account is unclear, since prisoners are not permitted to use phones, nor are they provided with internet. Whatever the case may be, it is safe to assume that Miller's fans are pleased to see their favorite dance instructor improving her life.

While the certificates that Miller was able to obtain in prison may open a wide-array of options for her when she gets out of prison, she has already expressed that she is still interested in doing something related to television. Miller's current tentative release date is on June 21 next year.
