Apple has just recently released some of their flagship products for this year, which includes the latest iPhone and a new Apple Watch. However, new reports are suggesting that the company may be putting the icing on the proverbial cake next month with the release of a brand new 2016 iMac all-in-one PC.

While the company has not yet released any official statement regarding the launch of the new iMac, several reports have claimed that the powerful Apple computer may be coming out next month. The reports also reveal that the new iMac will be coming with the latest technology that is currently available and that it will be a device that will be well worth the wait.

According to new reports, Apple has apparently partnered with LG to develop a brand new 5K Retina display for this year's iMac. While there aren't any details yet about the specifics of the 5K display, it is expected to be a significant improvement to the current iMac's display with a much higher pixel resolution.

To take advantage of the improved display, several reports have also claimed that the 2016 iMac may be coming with full VR capabilities. There are also claims that the iMac will be providing both virtual reality features and augmented reality features.

Alongside the new display, the device is also expected to sport the latest Polaris-based GPUs from Advanced Micro Devices (AMD). It isn't clear just yet if AMD will be making a custom graphics card for the device or if Apple will simply be integrating one of the AMD's Radeon RX GPUs into their latest product.

If the device will be launched next month, then it would mean that an Intel Kaby Lake processor may be out of the question and that the 2016 iMac may be offered with an Intel SkyLake processor instead. Other rumored specs for the 2016 iMac includes a Thunderbolt 3 port, 3.1 USB support, and the Mac OS Sierra operating system running out of the box.
