ZTE Blade S6 specs leaked: Handset an iPhone copycat?

Though not touted among the leading mobile phones you can get in the market, specs of the ZTE Blade S6 have somehow managed to show up online. But aside from that and if the leaked images are authentic, it looks like the Blade S6 could be hearing a lot of "iPhone" copycat rants soon.

The ZTE Blade S6 is supposed to be launched later this month but this early, interested folks get a glimpse of things to come after the celebrated leak spread online.

Aside from the fact that the ZTE Blade S6 will run on Android 5.0 Lollipop, it will feature a 5.0-inch capacitive touchscreen display (720x1280 pixels). It will run on a 1.5 GHz Octa Core Processor (Cortex-A53) and 2 GB of RAM with 16GB of internal storage. It will also come with an 8MP rear camera with single LED flash

For folks who are looking at budget-friendly phones, this should be a good device to consider. It will reportedly be offered for about $161 and should be ideal for people who are looking for new phones in the entry-level circle.

The Blade S6 does seemingly lack the necessary power that one would expect from the smartphones available in the market to date, but for $161, such specifications justify that expectation.

The Blade S6 will reportedly be marketed to non-Chinese markets, good news to the ones who are looking to try out the new mobile phone players in the market. And considering that it comes from China, that development should be welcome news for people around the globe.

On the issue of it being an iPhone "copycat", well perhaps there is a semblance somehow. But when you talk about power and energy consumption, there is certainly no basis for comparison to the actual iPhone 6.

The good thing about it is that it can potentially reach North American waters compared to the Xiaomi Mi Note which will not be made available in the United States.
