'Young And The Restless' spoilers: Phyllis freaks out, Nikki's dark secret

"The Young and The Restless" is going hard in the last week of year 2014. The show is not taking a break. Instead, it is giving fans intense and intriguing storylines to welcome the new year. Without further ado, here's what viewers can expect from Dec. 29, 2014 to Jan. 2, 2015: 

Adam Newman 

Adam's return to Genoa City has been nothing but intense. This week, the intensity reaches new heights as Adam's secret may be revealed. First, Nick starts to realize that Gabriel is actually Adam's brother, reports Soap Central. Knowing this, Nick might be the one to expose the secret. Next, Adam gets to have a moment with Chelsea and he decides to make a move on her. 

Also this week, Adam shows Jack his bullet wound, and he tells Jack that it was Billy who shot him. 

Phyllis, Jack and Kelly 

Phyllis makes plans to spend New Year's Eve with Jack at the Genoa City Athletic Club. However, Phyllis and Jack are not aware that Kelly is the one hosting the event. Since their names are on the guest list, Kelly knows that her ex-boyfriend and Phyllis are going to be there. 

When Jack arrives alone, Kelly gets excited. Later, Jack tells her that Phyllis is just running late. Jack takes the opportunity to explain things to Kelly. Suddenly, Phyllis arrives and witnesses the two talking. She freaks out and misinterprets Jack and Kelly's conversation. 

Other Spoilers 

This week, Nikki's dark secret will be revealed, and Stitch and Victoria will finally continue their relationship. Neil will start to see the light. As for Nick and Sharon, the temporary peace is over as they will push forward with their legal war. According to We Love Soaps, Ashley will reconnect with an old friend, while Jill and Cane will discuss where their relationship is heading. 

"The Young and The Restless" airs weekdays at 12:30 p.m. on CBS.
