When the Xbox One was launched, one of the most requested improvements that fans have been hoping for is a version that would be able to store a lot of titles, especially high-capacity games. It seems that Microsoft has been listening to the legions that make up its market base. Now, fans of the console line-up is in for a treat, as the premiere tech giant has confirmed that it will be releasing a 1 TB version of the Xbox One.

According to Microsoft's official Xbox news site, the new console version not only comes with a higher storage capacity at 1 TB, it also has an option for expansion since it now has an integrated USB 3.0 port.

In addition, the 1 TB Xbox One also features the new Xbox One Wireless Controller. The new console pad now has an integrated 3.5 mm stereo jack, which means that unlike in previous versions, players can now directly connect a headset right into the controller without the need for an adapter. In addition, control options such as mic monitoring, headset volume, and game audio balance are unlocked in the Settings menu.

Aside from the upgraded feature, the new controller's performance is also improved, allowing players to experience a seamless wireless firmware update.

To celebrate the release of the new 1 TB Xbox One, Microsoft is offering the new console in a packaged bundle. For a limited time and in selected regions, the new Xbox One 1 TB will be made available together with "Halo: The Master Chief Collection." In addition, the $349 price for 500 GB Xbox One consoles will also be made permanent in the United States and some selected regions.

The new Xbox One 1 TB consoles will start shipping to retailers on June 16 in the United States for $399.
